Online retail giant Amazon.com is back online after suffering a crash across its website and mobile app Thursday afternoon.
The outage appears to have begun around 2:25 p.m. ET this afternoon and lasted between 10 and 15 minutes. The site and app appeared to be up and running normally at 3 p.m. ET
Amazon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Users from across the U.S. reported the crash.
The site DownDetector.com reported a dramatic spike in complaints about the site’s lack of responsiveness during the outage. According to its Outage Map, the crash appears to have been confined to the U.S.
